Bruce Daniels is an American computer programmer and business executive has worked for Hewlett Packard, Apple Computer, Oracle, Borland, Sun Microsystems and his own start-up Singular Software, which created Mac database management software.〔(Save Our Shores bio )〕 He is known for having been the lead programmer on the operating system for the Apple Macintosh,〔("An Interview with Wayne Rosing, Bruce Daniels, and Larry Tesler: A behind the scenes look at the development of Apple's Lisa," ) ''Byte,'' February 1983, p.90+〕 and for being one of the original programmers of LISA, when he was still a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also programmed the Apple II port of Zork.〔(History of Infocom )〕 He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Soquel Creek Water District in Santa Cruz County, California serving in his second term as an elected official in 2010.〔(Soquelcreekwater.org ) Also in 2010, Bruce Daniels advanced to Ph.D. Candidacy in Hydro-Climatology at UCSC.
